If God can use me, He can use anybody! Bible says that He uses the most unlikely people to get His work done. We were admonished last Sunday night at Rev to be busy bringing in those outside the four walls in order to increase the “workforce”. Everyone out there is a potential employee to get Gods will done, which is to make apparent to the world the Children of Light! Me and you doing the works that Jesus did, and more! One of our job descriptions is to worship without a personal agenda. We worship just because He is the Lord of creation. Because of that kind of worship God shows up and tweaks our lives to better serve Him. Come on out next Sunday night at 6pm and see what kind of position God has created specifically for you.

Thanks to KRZA, 88.7 out of Alamosa, Colorado for playing Revolution off the new Rev CD on their Blues With a Feeling show! We’ll show some more true blues colors this Memorial Day Rally in May. Who knows? Maybe we’ll break out some really old blues like “Wait”

God is never late

There have been many times I’ve said to God, “If you don’t do something now it will be too late!” I’m the only one, between Him and I, that is ever worried. He is always on time. And even when I am afraid that the worst is inevitable, He has the unmitigated gall to use me to deliver others! At Rev we are learning the position God has given us in His scheme of things. Our response is to worship with all we are. His response to worship is to reveal Himself in new, more powerful ways! “Thus says the Lord, In an acceptable and favorable time I have heard you and answered you, and in a day of salvation I have helped you; and I will preserve you and give you for a covenant for the people, to raise up and establish the land and to apportion and cause them to inherit the desolate.” Is. 49:8

God is not a religion, He is an omnipotent being that created the universe. People have, from time to time, tried to build God a place He could live in. What audacity! Puny man, who always rebels against his Creator, thinks he could build God a house! This Being, who knows the beginning from the end had other plans. Through Jesus Christ He did the unimaginable: He turned this same man into a house He could live in! Church is not the place He put His holy of holies. He created a body that would show His glory and holiness. We at Revolution offer, not religion, but a place to experience God’s presence and to enter His holy of holies!

This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the Lord! Psalms102:18. We are the “new creation” that is meant to praise the Lord. Our number one purpose in Revolution is to offer the Lord of creation our complete praise. Oh, and by the way, He always shows up to deliver anyone who is in bondage, as He did this last Sunday! The presence of God rocked the worship party at Revolution last Sunday night! Jesus was the author and special guest at Rev. By His Spirit we entered the arena of group worship.
